M10 scabbard question

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forums, nice place you guys have. Anyway I just bought a M7 bayonet with M10 scabbard. Guy I bought it from said it was a "bring back", he got it from a older gentleman. So he assumes it is from Vietnam, but I don't know about that. It has US M7 and Imperial on the crossguard. My question is, did Vietnam era M7 bayonets come with M10 scabbards?
